Las Palmas

Las Palmas is Gran Canaria and the Canary Islands largest city with nearly 400,000 inhabitants. Here you can combine European big city with southern beach life on the famous Las Canteras beach.

The first meeting, many tourists get to town, the famous Santa Catalina Park is a popular meeting and rallying point for both canaries and tourists.

Las Palmas offers many cultural and religious attractions. Among the most famous attractions is the Columbus Museum and the Santa Ana cathedral.

Shopping is a natural activity for all tourists in Las Palams. Prices are significantly lower than the tourist places sites south of the island and the town has several large well-known shopping centers, including El Muelle, and El Corte Inglés. Please note that in most places is siesta between 13-17 and most shops are closed during this period.
