The slides and rides
For a smaller park, Acua packs in a decent variety of attractions. Thrill-seekers can take on fast kamikaze drops and twisting slides, while there are gentler rides for families and younger children, plus zig-zag chutes and a couple of racing lanes for friendly competition. Between the adrenaline runs you can drift round the lazy river or float in the wave pool when the artificial surf switches on. The park sits within easy reach of the centre of Corralejo, the buzzy resort town at the northern tip of Fuerteventura.
