Maspalomas beach

Maspalomas beach stretches from the lighthouse "Faro" at Playa del Ingles. This stretch is for the entire 6 km and is the island's longest beach and also includes a very popular nudist beach in the middle.

Between Maspalomas beach and Playa del Ingles you will find the Maspalomas desert which is a miniature desert or "dunas de Maspalomas" as it is its correct name in Spanish. This is a sandy desert in the mini format, and a popular haunt for nudists. There is a popular nudist beach area for a small area on the beach some place in the middle of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles but many of the naturists taking their freedom to use the entire desert area to their naked lifestyle.

Sand dunes are also a popular haunt for those who exploring their sexual desires in the open air, so it may be wise to take precautions if you take the kids for a drive in the sand dunes.

The Maspalomas beach is straight out toward open sea and the waves are therefore greater than on other beaches with the breakwater. It is important to follow safety flags that are set up with regard to the under water currents in the water.
